Quest Imaging offers the best in MBSS

Who is Quest
Imaging?

In the year 2000,
Quest Imaging was
established with the
vision of providing the
highest-quality mobile
video fluoroscopic
modified barium
swallow studies
(MBSS) to health
care providers in the
Central Texas area.
In 2003, Quest
expanded its scope of
services to include
the Dallas/Fort Worth
and Austin areas.

Today, Quest
Imaging has become
a proven leader in
this type of diagnostic
testing- providing the
most cost-effective
and most efficient
MBSS service to
nursing and
retirement facilities,
private homes and
other types of health
care facilities.

What are our
qualifications?

Currently, Quest
Imaging is the only
Medicare-certified
Independent
Diagnostic Testing
Facility (IDTF) in
the state of Texas
approved to perform
modified barium
swallow studies in
the mobile setting.
Because we are an
IDTF, we are held to
a much higher
standard of care
than other imaging
services.

In addition to more
than 100 years of
combined
experience of our
medical and
administrative staff,
Quest is licensed
and certified by the
Texas Department
of Health/Bureau of
Radiation Control,
as well as, the
Centers for
Medicare and
Medicaid Services
(CMS).
Quest Imaging, X-ray Film Duplication
All MBSS testing is performed on one of our mobile medical coaches by a
Texas-state licensed ASHA-certified Speech Language Pathologist specialized
in Dysphagia and directly supervised by a board certified, Medicare-approved
physician.
Our mobile medical coaches were specifically designed and customized to
perform video fluoroscopy in the mobile setting. The C-arm/fluoroscopy is a
low-dosage, high-frequency x-ray unit that provides outstanding diagnostic
images, while minimizing radiation exposure to the patient.  All air-
conditioned coaches also are wheelchair accessible – accommodating extra-
wide wheelchairs as well.

Three health professionals are with the patient throughout the 35-minute
procedure – offering much less stress for both patient and caregiver. The
same MBSS performed at an off-site imaging location may take longer, so
our on-site service is more cost-effective and efficient to your facility and
your patient. And with plenty of room on the medical coach for the patient,
our three medical professionals, and staff or family member, our high-
quality expedient service is provided in a comfortable mobile setting.

You can count on Quest Imaging, Inc. to provide the best in quality MBSS
services to your facility.
